HCMC May 29, 2019 – Representatives of Vietnam Blockchain Corporation (VBC) and Infinity Blockchain Labs (IBL) hosted an information sharing session with journalists, reporters, and representatives of Vietnamese ministries and departments regarding the new blockchain based agriculture traceability solution called “Agridential.” The sharing session was part of the project “Journey to discover startup lands”, organized by the Technology Innovation and Service Center – Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park (HHSC) Management Board, a State unit is tasked with supporting the start-up of Innovation, in the framework of the Project “Supporting the Ecosystem of National Innovation in 2025” (Scheme 844).
On 18 April 2019, The first eight tons of Vietnamese mangoes were successfully exported to the American market. All of the mango packages were merchandised from My Xuong Cooperative in Cao Lanh, Dong Thap Province. All of the mango packages meet the requirement of Vietgap, which offers quality assurance, no pesticide residue, and meets size standard requirements.
On March 15th, 2019 in Da Nang, Infinity Blockchain Labs discussed blockchain traceability solutions at the Conference “Vietnam Product Connection and Solutions for Business in new Digital Age.”The conference was organized by the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang City and Vietnam E-Commerce Association (VECOM) with the sponsorship of VTC News & SSDe.vn. The conference attracted more than 70 Vietnamese manufacturing enterprises in clean agricultural products, processing foods, handicrafts, pharmaceutical materials, cosmetics, and more.
Tien Giang, March 6, 2019 – Infinity Blockchain Labs Company attended the Conference “Sharing development models for rural cooperatives” with the Representative of Tien Giang People’s Committee and other enterprises on blockchain application in agriculture. Mr. Do Van Long, Regional Chief Strategy Officer, Infinity Blockchain Labs, has proposed using blockchain technology aiming at enhancing brand as well as agricultural productivities through developing value chain traceability.
On January 23, 2019 in Hanoi, Vietnam, The Asia Foundation (TAF), HMC Clean House Services Development Joint Stock Company (JupViec.vn) and Infinity Blockchain Labs Co., Ltd (IBL), with support from the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL) under the United States Department of State, participated in a signing ceremony to commemorate their partnership in developing the project “Blockchain solution to address worker right challenges.” The goal of the project is to build and pilot blockchain technology solutions in solving a number of labor problems. The project will span 30 months, from January 2019 to June 2021.
On November 23rd and 24th in Dong Thap City, Vietnam, Infinity Blockchain Labs (IBL) attended and sponsored the workshop “Control of origin and quality in agricultural products is protected by intellectual property rights.” At the event, IBL showcased a new blockchain traceability application for agriculture products. The workshop was organized by the National Office of Intellectual Property in coordination with the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Thap province within the framework of the Intellectual Property Development Program. The workshop was attended by state and local authorities in charge of intellectual property and agriculture; associations, enterprises producing and trading agricultural products; and consulting, product supply, control solutions, traceability, product quality businesses; intellectual property service and media, press departments.
On November 21st, 2018, Mr. Do Van Long, the Regional Chief Strategy Officer (RCSO), of Infinity Blockchain Labs (IBL) shared a new approach to consider blockchain technology in Vietnam at the workshop “Industrial Revolution 4.0 and new technologies in Vietnam.” The workshop was organized by the Central Institute of Economic Management associated with German Development Cooperation (GIZ) within the framework of CIEM-GIZ project in 2018.
